Buck was the entire reason I created Barn Balm and continued improving it over the years. He suffered from terrible sweet itch and gnats in the ears after moving to a different boarding farm and no OTC products worked at all. 

Barn Balm was created to fill a gap in the needs of horse ownership. We need products that actually work and last more than a few hours. Especially when it comes to bugs! Products that don't float away in the air, smell horrible or cause health issues in us or the horses. Products that won't sit around and just gather dust. Products that fit more than one use!

This balm not only repels gnats and biting bugs in the most sensitive areas, but also nourishes, immediately removes irritation, reduces swelling and heals scabs, small cuts and superficial wounds. It has even been used to regrow manes and tails after rubbing them out.

Barn balm has a medium scent that is strong enough to keep bugs away, but not overwhelm our senses or irritate the skin.

You can even rub it into your skin after applying on the horse (or just buy it for yourself) for a moisturizing, skin barrier healing effect. It has zero toxic ingredients, is vegetarian friendly, cruelty free and made right here in Wyoming, USA. 

This blend acts as a powerful balm for repairing skin barrier function and providing long-lasting hydration for exceptionally dry or sensitive skin. While these amazing ingredients are soothing and healing the sores, the essential oils and slick property of the balm keep bugs from returning.
